UA-72902290-1 page contentsUsually men who are diagnosed of prostate cancer are adviced for the following treatments and medications: (1) Radiation therapy to kill cancer cells and can be done in two ways such as Radiation that comes from outside of your body (external beam radiation) and Radiation placed inside your body (brachytherapy). (2) Hormone therapy to stop your body from producing the male hormone testosterone. (3) Surgery to remove the prostate that involves removing the prostate gland (radical prostatectomy), some surrounding tissue and a few lymph nodes. (4) Freezing prostate tissue that involves freezing tissue to kill cancer cells. Small needles are inserted in the prostate using ultrasound images as guidance. A very cold gas is placed in the needles, which causes the surrounding tissue to freeze. (5) Heating prostate tissue using ultrasound that uses powerful sound waves to heat prostate tissue, causing cancer cells to die. (6) Chemotherapy that uses drugs to kill rapidly growing cells, including cancer cells. Chemotherapy can be administered through a vein in your arm, in pill form or both. Prostate cancer is a form of cancer that develops in the prostate, a gland in the male reproductive system. The signs and symptoms of prostate cancer are classified as trouble urinating, decreased force in the stream of urine, blood in your urine, blood in your semen, swelling in your legs, discomfort in the pelvic area and bone pain. Prostate cancer mainly affects men over 50, and his risk increases with age. The average age for men to be diagnosed with prostate cancer is between 70 and 74 years. If he is under 50, his risk of getting prostate cancer is very low. Men under 50 can get it, but it isn't common. The good news aside from the above mentioned treatments and medications some doctors and other experts have adviced those who have prostate cancer to adapt a way that would help cut prostate cancer risk naturally. Anthony Smith, the deputy director of the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University in Melbourne, was quoted saying, "The research could affect the kind of lifestyle advice doctors give to patients. Masturbation is part of people's sexual repertoire. If these findings hold up, then it's perfectly reasonable that men should be encouraged to masturbate." Some scientific studies found that masturbation can lower risk of prostate cancer. It relieves sexual tension. There are no harmful side effects. It will not stunt your growth. Your testicles will not decrease in size. You will not become sterile. You will be better at sex as result and it feels really good. Clears your sinuses and keeps the plumbing flowing and it makes you happy. But the danger being - you may fall in love with yourself! In this article I have included some useful links that you see above which I thought can help justify my idea. This is a researched article. Can't wait to read more?
