UA-72902290-1 page contentsIt is exactly equivalents to 28 years, seven months and fifteen days - my wife Imelda has enjoyed life with me and with our three loving children. For more than 28 years, we have enjoyed the married life full of beautiful dreams for the future ahead. We have never fight or have shouted at each other. Today is our 29th year wedding anniversary but Imelda has already gone with the Lord on July 24th of 2015. With our children, we just celebrate the day remembering her sweet memories. That was on December 3, 1986, I started courting my wife. I visited her in the morning, lunchtime and in the evening for about six days. On December 8, 1986, I got her approval to marry me. That same day, we brought our plan to her parents and it was approved. Also that same day, we contacted our chosen sponsors and we were advised to see them in the morning the next day at Trece, Martirez City Hall to get the marriage license and other documents needed for the civil wedding. Finally on December 9, 1986 at around 9 AM, with the help of our sponsors all the necessary documents for the wedding were completed. At around 10:30 AM we proceeded to the office of the judge located at the second floor of the Municipal City Hall. The ceremony was simple and very fast. It only took less than ten minutes after the judge declared, “I pronounce you Paul and you Imelda as husband and wife and you may now kiss your wife”. Following his declaration were the wishes of congratulations and the signing of our signatures on the documents with his signature and the signatures of our godparents. After nine months, Imelda got pregnant. She delivered our first baby angel which was a boy on October 16, 1987. We gave him a name Jeffrey. However, on his nine months on this planet, the boy died. And it took us for almost a year on mourning. But the good news followed when in April 1989, Imelda conceived our second baby girl and she delivered her on December 5, 1989. We gave her a name Marife. While in 1991, November 21, again we welcomed another baby girl, we gave her a name Maricar and again we received another blessing from the Almighty, Imelda has again conceived another angel and has delivered her on December 30, 1992 and we gave her a name MaryJoy. She is the last angel Imelda has conceived before she expelled her last breath last July 24, 2015. Instead of staying at home, thinking what had happened, my children and I have decided to go out from our comfort zone. With bundle of red roses and some candles, we visited to the cemetery to greet their mom a happy 29th wedding anniversary. After that, we proceeded to visit SM City, Rosario, there we have eaten our lunch at KFC - one of the food courts found on the city mall, took some photographs and have enjoyed some window shopping. Yes. We have had to do this as we thought it that this is the best thing for us to do. We see it that this is the right and a positive approach to fill up the vacuum in our hearts remembering mama and prayers for her peace in the hand of the Merciful God.
Imelda is now at home in heaven, so happy and so bright, where there is perfect joy and beauty with the everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over for her now. Every restless tossing passed, she is now at peace forever, safely home in heaven at last. Do not grieve for her, for now she is free, she is following the path God laid for her. She took His hand when she heard Him call. She turned her back and had left it all. She could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, because Imelda - my beloved wife has found that place at the close of the day. If her parting has left a void, then fill it remembered joy - a friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss - these things, she too, I am surely sure she will miss. Do not be burdened with times of sorrow, she wishes you the sunshine of tomorrow. Her life has been full, she savored much - good friends, good times and a loved one's touch. Perhaps her time seemed all too brief, but do not lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with her, God wanted her now, He set her free! Imelda - you are always alive and always be remembered in our hearts. You left us with all your love that we will always cherish as time passes by...Love you much. Can't wait to read more?
